Originally from the Franche-Comté region, Morbier AOP turns all heads! This raw cow’s milk cheese with a soft texture is one of the favorites of the French. It can be recognized by its black line located right in the middle of the cheese and due to the presence of ash or vegetable charcoal.

Morbier AOP has a slightly pronounced and fruity flavor. Its texture is soft and creamy, with hints of hazelnut. It is perfect for lovers of cheeses that are a bit strong, but who do not want to be overwhelmed by too intense flavors. Despite its pronounced taste, its smell remains light.

You can eat Morbier as a starter or dessert, tasting it as it is or incorporating it into more elaborate recipes, such as gratins or savory pies.
